Every year in October, the city of Antibes and Juan-les-Pins celebrate the Harvest Festival with a Wine & Gastronomy fair. Over 70 producers from the locality and from all over France offer their wine, cheeses, chocolate, liqueurs, pastries, and various delicatessen to the public.
The 16th edition - 2024
The yearly gastronomy festival always runs at the end of October (dates still to be announced) and is organised by Kiwanis Club d’Antibes Juan-les-Pins. The festival is spread across the two halls of the Espaces du Fort Carré. You will find artisan producers, wine from all over France, gastronomic specialties, pastry classes given by the likes of Christian Cottard, oenology classes given by sommeliers (such as Jérome Mauzé), and cooking demonstrations by La Flambée and others.
Review of the 2023 Antibes Wine & Gastronomy Fair
There were more than 3,000 visitors at this 15th Show; a new attendance record. Kiwanis is an international organisation (of volunteers) who work to help children who are sick, disabled or in difficulty. The fair is their most important event, and all the profits go to providing children with material help, moral support and a little happiness.
This year, this included funding equine therapy and music therapy courses at Fontonne hospital centre, the hospital's kindergarten, and the children's theatre festival. The workshops were a real hit this year; including courses on “the principles of tasting”, on “the aromas of wine”, “environmental labels”, and on beer “production and tasting”. The punters also enjoyed the numerous raffles throughout each day of the event. |
